Touring Bicycles
Faced with some of the greatest challenges of any style of bicycle, Touring bicycles are asked to ride on many different surfaces, with heavy loads, for long distances, and keep the rider comfortable. Turn to Southwest Bicycle Works to make sure you bicycle is up to the challenge.
General Bicycle Service: We will check the bicycle to make sure it is functioning properly and make the proper adjustments as needed. Any parts that may be required will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.
Service fee £25.00
Advanced Bicycle Service: This service includes everything we do in a general service, plus we will clean your bicycles drive-train in our citrus based solvent hot wash and lubricate it with a superior chain lube. Any parts that may be required will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.
Service fee £45.00
Complete Service: This is a entire strip down of your bicycle. We will clean the parts in our citrus based solvent hot wash. Rebuild the hubs, bottom bracket, and headset if possible or replace sealed bearings if needed(the cost of the new sealed bearings is not included in service fee). Install new cables and lubricate the bike with a superior chain lube. Any parts that may be required, that are not mentioned above, will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.

Drive-train Clean: Keep your bike running smoothly and help your drive-train parts last longer with our Drive-train Clean service. We will clean your bicycles drive-train in our citrus based solvent hot wash and lubricate it with a superior chain lube.

Individual Repairs: Individual Repairs are charged appropriately for the repair being made. We will let you know up front what the repair will cost. Please contact us for a free estimate.
