I needed my rear hydraulic brake fixed A.S.A.P due to impending trip out of town.
Frantic ringing round the usual suspects yielded no help, when I stumbled across SWBW's number.
Tory was able to help me out and pulled out all the stops getting my problem fixed. No mean feat since it turned out the XT mechanism didn't have a repair kit available and had to be replaced.
Bike was fixed and ready to go in time for me to take the bike with me.
Friendly, timely and reasonably priced (even considering the unexpected requirement of a new caliper)

Thanks to Tory for doing such a good job on repairing the bottom bracket on my vintage bike - he found the right parts quickly and also rebuilt the headset.

I asked Tory to look at a recumbant trike I was given for my son (he has autism and has not managed to ride a standard bike) that needed lots of love. Tory took the work on and managed to shorten it
and get it all working. The smile on my sons face when he got on and started going was well worth it. Definitely recommend Tory. Great work and great prices, from an independant company.

This is something I have been meaning to do for several years! The first time Tory serviced one of my bikes, he was running the business from his house; since then he has moved first to a small unit
and now to another bigger unit. The improvement in facilities must be a reflection of his success in building a business from scratch. Tory is always professional in the work he does but also very
friendly and helpful providing an excellent level of service. I would not hesitate to recommend him to other cyclists and I intend to take advantage of the bike fitting service quite soon! Thanks

I looked up Tory of South West Bicycle Works on Yell and whilst out on a ride I popped in to see whether he could sort out an annoying creaking that had developed at the front end of my bike.
I turned up with no prior appointment and within 20 minutes the problem was sorted and I was on my way.
Very courteous and helpful would recommend to all, no need to go anywhere else!!

I've been using southwest bicycle works and speaking to Tory for advice for a while now and I would never go anywhere else. My bike fit was a amazing and Tory is always willing to make any minor

I had a annoying problem with my bottom bracket which had seen better days. I took my bike to Southwest Bicycle Works and now I do not have any noise. Southwest Bicycle Works are first class when it
comes to customer service and bike repairs.

Until Tory sorted out my bike for me riding my Giant was a real pain quite literally. Every time I went out I would get shoulder and neck pain that was almost unbearable. But a trip to South West
Bicycle Works and Tory had the problem sorted, some new handle bars, a bespoke bike fit and a service its like riding a new bike. Great Service. Great chap. Thanks Tory!!!

Since my neighbour recomended Tory after doing such a great job on his road bike for a very reasonable price i thought i'd start using his services for my mountain bikes. Ive not been dipapointed.
Firstly he's a top chap with a lot of bike knowledge and if there's somthing he's not sure of he'll find the answer one may or another. I like the fact the he'll ring me if something unexpected needs
doing or even to ask the colour of a new part if theres a choice. I'll be using SWBW for all my bike servicing and repairs from now on and would recomend anyone else to do the same. Thanks Tory.

Vintage Bicycles

Having worked on bicycles from the 1950's and60's through the present, and being proud owners of bicycles which some would now consider vintage, we here at Southwest Bicycle Works have a great appreciation and love for the vintage bike. We go to the extreme to find parts to keep your vintage bike as original as possible and have the knowledge of how the bicycles were when new.

If you love your vintage bike, it deserves to be trusted to no other than Southwest Bicycle Works.

General Bicycle Service: We will check the bicycle to make sure it is functioning properly and make the proper adjustments as needed. Any parts that may be required will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.

Service fee £25.00

Advanced Bicycle Service: This service includes everything we do in a general service, plus we will clean your bicycles drive-train in our citrus based solvent hot wash and lubricate it with a superior chain lube. Any parts that may be required will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.

Service fee £45.00

Complete Service: This is a entire strip down of your bicycle. We will clean the parts in our citrus based solvent hot wash. Rebuild the hubs, bottom bracket, and headset if possible or replace sealed bearings if needed(the cost of the new sealed bearings is not included in service fee). Install new cables and lubricate the bike with a superior chain lube. Any parts that may be required, that are not mentioned above, will be in addition to the service fee, and we will inform you of what is needed before we make the repair.

Service fee £100.00

Drive-train Clean: Keep your bike running smoothly and help your drive-train parts last longer with our Drive-train Clean service. We will clean your bicycles drive-train in our citrus based solvent hot wash and lubricate it with a superior chain lube.

Service fee £25.00

Individual Repairs: Individual Repairs are charged appropriately for the repair being made. We will let you know up front what the repair will cost. Please contact us for a free
